Apple is known for offering great deals across a wide range of products for students. College and university students in certain regions can avail hefty discounts on selective products and services. Apple provides a 50 percent discount on the Apple Music Student plan compared to the regular plan. The discounts encourage students to use the service at an affordable price point, alongside the company also provides free access to Apple TV Plus. Nevertheless, it seems that the student offers are going to be expensive for some regions.

Yes! You read it correctly, Apple has announced that the prices of Apple Music have increased from USD 7.90 per month to USD 10.90 per month. According to the report, the Cupertino tech giant has started sending emails to the Apple Music Student plan subscription. Let’s have a look at the list of countries which are going to be affected by the new changes.

In India, Apple Music Plan is up for grabs at Rs 99 per month, and for a family, plan users have to pay Rs 149. However, the student plans come with a price tag of Rs 49 per month which is going to become Rs 59 later this week.
Apple also confirmed that the price tag of the Apple Music Student plan depends on the local currency of the affected region. However, the company is yet to reveal any reason behind the change in prices. There might be a possibility that Apple may increase the price of the other products and life all the offers for students.
