After delivering one of the biggest hits of the year ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, the Tollywood prince Allu Arjun is all set to feature in a Hollywood superhero franchise. Recently his southern
contemporary Dhanush featured in a high octane Hollywood adventure ‘The Gray Man’ alongside Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, as a formidable assassin. Although there has been no official statement yet, sources close to the star reveal that the actor has been offered a role in a superhero franchise. A bigshot director met with Arjun during his recent trip to New York.
During his New York trip, Allu Arjun met with the mayor of the metropolis Eric Adams who posed with the superstar in the trademark Pushpa pose. Eric conferred the Tollywood star with a certificate of recognition for serving as the grand marshal of New York’s 40th annual India Day parade and for his contribution to film and entertainment industry.

With the southern industry making waves globally with blockbusters like ‘RRR’ which drew accolades from all quarters, it is high time a desi star enters the Marvel or the DC universe. While maverick Indian storyteller Farhan Akhtar featured in the latest MCU show Ms Marvel, a full fledged role of desi action star is still amiss in the MCU or teh DCU.
