The Jared Leto starrer has been pushed multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Sony’s decision to push its upcoming January 28 release date by another three months (to April 1, 2022) has led to some fans believing that the makers have postponed the release due to their request. While the chances of Garfield’s appearance in the movie look very bleak, fans continue to take on Twitter to express their desire. Check them out here:

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Garfield revealed that he hasn’t got any call from Sony or Marvel yet. “Look, man, I ain’t got a call,” Garfield responded when quizzed about his next Spider-Man outing. The 38-year-old actor even compared his situation to the game of Werewolf/Mafia where he’s trying to prove his innocence.

On the other hand, Leto’s ‘Morbius’ which is helmed by Daniel Espinosa is now slated to release on April 1, 2022. The movie will also feature Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson in pivotal roles.
