‘Lock Upp’: Amid Reports Of Delay, Kangana Ranaut’s Show Gets Another Contestant- Karanvir Bohra

Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp was earlier scheduled to stream from February 27 on ALTBalaji and MX Player; however, today a businessman from Hyderabad named Sanobar Baig filed a copyright claim against this show in the Hyderabad city civil court and now the court has restricted this show from streaming on any platforms.

So far, the reality show has confirmed 5 out of the 16 controversial contestants who will be locked up in a jail for several months. Today the makers of Ekta R Kappor and Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming Lock Upp reality show revealed that Karanvir Bohra will be the fifth contestant.

The five contestants confirmed for this controversial reality show which is going to stream on ALTBalaji and MX Player are TV actress Nisha Rawal, wrestling champion Babita Phogat, Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and Karanvir Bohra.

Ekta R Kapoor confirmed that the reality show Lock Upp will not stream from 27th February by sharing a trailer on Instagram that says “Coming Soon”. She posted a video on Instagram where she revealed the fifth contestant of the show and also announced indirectly that the streaming of this show has been postponed.

She captioned the post as “@karanvirbohra ko hai qubool, humari queen ka har ek rule! Watch #LockUpp streaming soon on @altbalaji & @mxplayer”. Ekta R Kapoor is going to bring 16 controversial celebrities to this reality show where they will be locked in jail for several months. Lock Upp is set to live stream on ALTBalaji and MX Player. The dates of the live streaming of this show will be announced soon once the matter in the court is resolved.

The businessman from Hyderabad claimed that the Lock Upp reality show is based on his idea that was registered in 2018 as The Jail. He has taken this matter to the Hyderabad city civil court and filed a copyright complaint against it.
