World’s first future light-painting leather technology has been announced by the Chinese tech company, Infinix. This newly launched technology offers different colour options to the Infinix smartphone users according to their mood. The users can change the colour of their smartphone’s back panel by the use of UV light.

When the smartphone’s back panel is exposed to the UV light, the colour changes and it can be reversed as well. When the UV light interacts with the back panel of the smartphone, the molecular structure changes and that leads to the changing of colour. This colour gets back to normal when the smartphone is taken away from the UV light. Infinix has announced this technology and has claimed that it will not use any additional energy from the smartphone.

Infinix said that the development of the future light-painting leather technology lasted six months and it has been tested over hundred times by the engineers of the company. This technology will debut with the upcoming Infinix smartphones. In addition, the back panel provides a comfortable grip to the user and protects the device from damage as well.
