Housefull 5 OTT Release: Here’s Where & How You Can Watch Both Versions Of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh Starrer

Tarun Mansukhani directorial Housefull 5, despite severe backlash from the audience for objectifying the women in their movie and many other reasons, is now available on Amazon Prime Video. The Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh & Abhishek Bachchan multi-starrer premiered on the streaming platform on July 18, Friday.

For those who don’t remember, the movie was released in theatres in two versions titled Housefull 5 A and B. Well, both versions are now available for streaming, but with a catch. It is to be noted that both versions have different climaxes and different endings, since it is a murder mystery comedy with two different killers in both films. Depending on which version the audience watched, the killers changed.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, both versions of Housefull 5 are available for rent on Prime Video for Rs 349. If one wants to watch both versions and figure out the both the killers, their reasons behind the murder, they will have to pay double the price, i.e., Rs 698, for both films. It is to be noted that when the film will be available for fee is not known yet.

Housefull 5’s story and screenplay are written by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie was released on June 6, 2025.

Being one of the most popular franchises in India, the first installment of Housefull (2010) as well as the second installment, released in 2012, were directed by Sajid Khan. The third installment of the comedy caper was directed by Sajid-Farhad. Farhad Samji had directed Housefull 4 (2019). With Tarun Mansukhani directing the fifth instalment, Sajid Nadiadwala has produced the franchise under his production banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
