The minute BTS members joined Instagram with their individual accounts, it became clear that they’re here to dominate. V aka Kim Taehyung’s account (@thv) in particular seems to have quickly become a hot favourite among followers as he instantly broke records on the social media platform. In his latest IG feat, V became the first Asian celebrity to have four posts with over 17 million likes.
The K-pop star has joined a club of only four celebrities to have crossed the milestone. This includes award-winning singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, football star Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. A quick reminder – the Bangtan boys only joined Instagram on December 6, 2021.
V’s very aesthetic feed is a mix of work and personal-life related posts. And it’s breaking records by simply existing.

Among his top four most-liked posts is a picture of his pet dog Yeontan which garnered 18 million likes. Check out the four posts here:

V previously broke two Guinness World Records with his IG debut. He is currently the fastest to hit 1 million (within 43 minutes) and 10 million followers on Instagram (within 4 hours). Not that fans are surprised, but he even surpassed Friends star, Jennifer Aniston.
On the work front, BTS members recently launched a webtoon and web novel series ‘7Fates: Chakho’ and official merchandise that flew off the shelves. Their upcoming ‘Permission to Dance’ concert is slated to be held in South Korea in March
