WhatsApp has long stated that it is working on a feature that would allow users to contact the company directly within the app for help.

Now, the company is introducing a new feature called ‘in-app support,’ which will allow consumers to do that precisely. In brief, this new tool will allow WhatsApp users to contact the company’s support service straight from a chat thread, similar to how they communicate with their friends and family.

WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo discovered the capability to give in-app help for users in WhatsApp versions 2.22.3.5 for Android and 22.2.72 for iOS.

When beta testers contact the Meta-owned service via Settings > Help > Contact us, a notice appears on both platforms that says, “We will react to you via a WhatsApp chat.” WhatsApp communicates with users via in-app messaging through its verified account, which has a green tick mark to indicate that the message is genuine.

On the other hand, WhatsApp is said to be working on new notification settings for iOS that would allow users to control notification sounds and choose which alerts they want to receive. In a future version of WhatsApp, users will be able to see specifics about message responses.

The instant messaging service may work on improving its built-in sketching tools for photographs and movies, as well as adding additional pencil tools. The service may be used with blur image software that will be released in the future. It’s worth mentioning that WhatsApp will gather certain device information in order to better analyze the issue you’ve mentioned. Your phone number, network information, WhatsApp, and OS version may all be included in this information.

This data sharing is, however, voluntary, and you may turn it off by toggling the Include Device Information button, which appears beneath the spot where you wrote your problem.
