Shark Tank India’s beloved judge Anupam Mittal gave his fans a minor dil ka daura sharing his clean shaven face. The ace entrepreneur and investor is shooting for a biographical documentary that chronicles the journey of his venture shaadi.com, titled ‘Anupam Ki Shaadi’. Anupam shared a BTS of the documentary where he is sans his trademark trimmed baarik beard.

Director Nishant Nayak remarked that the documentary trails Anupam’s journey as a starry eyed young firebrand businessman. He is seen taking retakes during the many shots. Nayak says that Anupam always wants to give you a better take. The director is in awe of his ‘true commitment’ to the character.

In the BTS, Anupam is seen trimming off his beard and getting clean shaven. He quips

Kya kya karna padhta hai yaar kaam ke liye’.

later he jibes

kuch toh chor diya hota. . .(at least) mooche. . .!’

The fun shoot also had his hair style messed up to give a more youthful look.

AVP Marketing Adish Zaveri jokes that Anupam is a successful businessman but a struggling actor. . .before quoting that he is indeed a good actor.

The documentary also gives glimpses of his passion for cricket. The sets looked really rustic.

Anupam remarks that the best thing about the production is the sets. They really did a fab job recreating the nostalgia with a similar vibe. Even the shaadi.com office set was recreated to the exact minute detail.

Speaking about the documentary, the Shark Tank Judge says that this story has a lot of stuff for entrepreneurs and especially for the times when you are down. There is a lot of relatability too. He believes this documentary will dispel the notion that successful entrepreneurs had offered everything in a silver spoon. No. we’ve all started from the same grind. At the bottom of the barrel.
