This untapped feature of Apple iPhones has taken the Internet by storm. The Live Listen feature allows users to spy on people through walls.

This hidden feature was discovered by a TikTok user named Dalilamouhib and she has revealed how iPhone users can spy on friends and family using the Live Listen feature.

“You can hear everything, everything through your AirPods.” She further told her followers that they can forget/leave their iPhone in a room where people are talking, go to another room and hear what they’re talking about in that room behind their backs. It comes in loud and clear through the AirPods. It is totally a secret,” Dalilamouhib said.

“And they don’t know about it,” she further added.

According to Apple, the Live Listen feature was developed to secretly listen to conversations from another room. This feature turns Apple devices into microphones to hear conversations that are connected to AirPods, Powerbeats Pro, AirPods Pro, BeatsFit Pro or AirPods Max.

How To Enable The Live Listen Feature?

STEP 1: Drag the control centre and tap on the hearing icon.

STEP 2: Now, turn on the Live Listen feature and you can listen to conversations from another room.

However, this feature is only functional across the Bluetooth range.

“Despite the many other obvious ‘uses’ it may have, the feature is designed to assist those hard of hearing so that they can place their phone near a noise source and hear it even from far away,” said Tom Peet from Repair Outlet.
