It was a long wait before the DC FanDome 2021 but boy was it worth it! The fan-favorite event not only raised the bar for virtual ones, gathering the biggest and brightest talent but also gave loyalists a spectacular preview at the DC Multiverse and everything that’s ahead. The streaming event gave us sneak peeks at some of the biggest DC movies, TV shows, games and comics coming in the next year including The Batman, Black Adam, Peacemaker, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and more. Needless to say, it is raining trailers, behind-the-scenes featurettes and memorable moments along with never-before-seen surprises.

It started with a first look at Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam! The actor took to DC’s Hall of Heroes to discuss his role and share an electrifying sneak peek that showed off Black Adam’s entrance into the movie. It is all set to release on July 29, 2022.

Fans got to go behind the scenes when Jason Momoa gave us our first deep dive into Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, due out December 16, 2022. He shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip that featured some compelling (and surprising) concept art—we’re not sure what the giant grasshoppers and desert creatures are all about, but we’re all for them! Director James Wan promised a globetrotting adventure that “isn’t afraid to embrace its fantasy.”

The first Peacemaker teaser trailer also debuted where John Cena fans also got a bonus behind-the-scenes look about the time the Peacemaker cast joined writer and director James Gunn to discuss the upcoming The Suicide Squad spinoff series coming to HBO Max on January 13, 2022.

Another in line is Shazam! Fury of the Gods. It took fans behind the scenes with Asher Angel and Zachary Levi to show what they can expect from the sequel to 2019’s Shazam. In short, bigger action, more exotic sets, a plot that delves heavily into mythology and a powerful duo of villains played by Hellen Mirren and Lucy Liu.

But all stops were pulled when Ezra Miller arrived from the set of the film to tease fans with an early look at The Flash. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the film is not only set to involve a multiverse narrative that will weave together a variety of dimensions but it’s also bringing back some of the most unlikely performers from DC Comics’ cinematic history, including appearances from Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.

While that is that, the biggest highlight of the DC FanDome was and is Matt Reeves’ The Batman where Robert Pattinson will be seen as the caped crusader. The first teaser for the film was released at last year’s FanDome, but it got delayed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. But somehow it was all worth it because a new trailer is here and it is beyond better! The film also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Paul Dano as Riddler and John Turturro as Carmine Falcone. The Batman will premiere on March 4, 2022.

It goes without a saying that the internet is all over the trailer with Twitter obsessing about every minute thing. From Ezra Miller’s Flash to Robert Pattinson’s Batman, fans can hardly keep calm. See for yourself.

There’s more from where that came from and you can check it out here (DCFanDome.com. )
