Elon Musk took the stage earlier this year to demonstrate something that many consider being even more remarkable than the Tesla Cybertruck.

The Tesla Bot was launched by the CEO, who then gave a detailed presentation and followed up with a Q&A with the product development team. And during August’s debut, it appeared like the company was just dabbling in the robot ecosystem to measure interest. However it is not as vital as creating renewable energy technology, Musk stated that it is on his radar, and also that the Tesla Bot development process has already begun.

In a subsequent interview with Lex Fridman, Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted that the Tesla Bot might be more than a machine. He talked about how the company’s robot, which looks like something out of a science fiction movie, has the ability to become a human partner in the interview.

He also speculated that they may grow into humanoids like R2D2 or C3Po from the Star Wars franchise. “Over time, the Bot may acquire a distinct personality,” he added. It’s not as if all robots are the same. That personality, or whichever you want to call it, may adapt to the owner.” This is a bold statement from the business mogul, who has previously questioned the notion that artificial intelligence (AI) is required to improve technology.

He claims that the vast majority of AI’s accomplishments can be achieved without it. It will be amazing to see how something like a Tesla Bot can function as a companion while maintaining some degree of distinctiveness without or with minimal AI.

He has stated repeatedly that the Tesla Bot’s primary goal will be to alleviate people of stressful repetitive tasks. During the Tesla Bot presentation, Musk also brought up the topic of future labor shortages, which may be solved by robots like Tesla Bot.
