Turkish chef Nusret Gokce, popularly known as Salt Bae, turned into an internet sensation in 2017, post a meme featuring his iconic salt-sprinkling style that left everyone impressed. Apart from capitalising on the fame and increasing popularity on social media, the Turkish chef managed to expand his business to many popular tourist locations. And the latest addition to Salt Bae’s popular restaurant chain is the newly opened Nusr-Et eatery in London.
Given his immense popularity on social media, the world-famous chef shared a post on the inaugural day and wrote, “opened at the heart of the world 23.09.2021,” followed by a video, giving food-enthusiasts and his millions of followers, a glimpse of the Nusr-Et restaurant in London. The clip even featured Salt Bae sprinkling salt on the meat in his iconic trademark style.
But it looks like the exorbitant prices at the restaurant haven’t gone down well with netizens, who have shared their views on Twitter. Some even compared the prices of Salt Bae’s newly-inaugurated eatery with other popular and established food joints in London.
