According to reports, Miyazaki, a rare ruby-colored Japanese variety of mango, is the priciest mango in the world, costing 2.7 lakh a kg. Jabalpur farmer Parihar. The RPG Group Chairman tweeted that Madhya Pradesh has employed three security guards and six dogs to protect the two trees.
It is one of the priciest fruits available everywhere. The cost of the fruit increased to 2.70 lakh rupees per kilogramme last year.
A man gave Mr. Parihar a sapling of Miyazaki during a train ride, according to a report in the news agency ANI. The tree’s potential to produce Japanese mangoes with a ruby hue was unknown to the pair.

Miyazaki’s mangoes are shipped throughout Japan, and their production volume is second only to Okinawa’s.
