Late rapper and politician Sidhu Moose Wala’s rap has travelled to the farthest corner of the globe. Devastated fans and artists influenced by Sidhu have been flooding the socials with tributes and homages in their unique way. Joining the caravan of grief, Nigerian rapper Burna Boy paid a tearful tribute to Sidhu! Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, even mimicked Sidhu’s signature steps. Burna hit his thigh and raised his finger like Sidhu! He choked up on stage while the audience cheered for the local boy.
Users and fellow musicians commented on Burna’s ‘gram post.
Celine Sharma and Happy Singh replied with a folded hand emoji, while K J Dhaliwal wrote ‘You are already my fav artists, but this took it to a whole diff level, respect brother!
Few other artists too (among many) conveyed their grief and respect in Bruno’s post.
Earlier the Nigerian rapper tweeted ‘Legends never Die’ with a broken heart emoji following the brutal murder of the punjabi rapper. His tweet hit over 27k likes.

Even as fans are trending #justiceforshidumoosewala the law and order situation in the state is a pity. Although security has been restored of 424 VIPs, it is too late for the collateral damage that’s been done. The former order by the local AAP government has been revoked. CM Bhagwant Mann (himself an artist) has declared that the securities for the 424 VIPs will be provided back from June 7th onwards.
Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unknown assailants near Mansa just a day post his security was withdrawn. Although speculations are rife including local gang rivalry, until the culprits are nabbed, the true motive of the crime will only be assumptions on tone deaf TV debates.
