Man Made To Apologize On Cam After Asking Vendor To Speak In Marathi; Internet Calls It Uno Reverse

Even as the MNS workers continue to create a cacophony in regional branches of major banks over state language supremacy, making videos of helpless individuals and coercing them into apologizing for not speaking in Marathi, a lone language warrior got too carried away with the organization’s ongoing campaign. In a clip gone viral on the internet, a Maharashtra lad was surrounded and forced to apologize while confessing to his crime – of bullying a non-Marathi-speaking street vendor.

Allegedly the man conversed with the vendor in the native language; the person could not respond. This infuriated the language warrior, who created a ruckus sans a mob that is known to bully and even get physical. Per reports, a crowd gathered in the locality in support of the bullied vendor. They forced the man to say sorry in Hindi, which he did. Meanwhile, some users claimed that the video was six months older from Mambra, which was followed by statements by the MNS.

Reactions poured in with users calling the incident pure Karma. “Uno reverse,” remarked one user. Some users took a dig, remarking, “Language warrior turned apology warrior.” One user quipped,

This is the reality of regional chauvinism everywhere. They target poor, helpless people who can’t fight back and feel “brave” about it. But when they face someone who can form a bigger mob, they chicken out.”
