Developed by The Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI), the app is a one-stop solution for jute farmers, providing vital information on minimum support prices (MSP), agronomy, and much more. It is available in six languages, the ministry of textiles said in a statement.

The Paat-Mitro application, launched by ministry of textiles, aims to support 40 lakh jute farmer families by offering a platform with comprehensive information and tools.
This app, available in six languages, provides details on MSP, agronomy, Jute-Icare schemes, weather forecasts, and access to JCI purchase centres.
Farmers can also track payment statuses.

The application features an array of tools and information, including the latest agronomic practices, Jute Gradation Parameters, and farmer-centric schemes such as Jute-Icare. Additionally, users can access weather forecasts, locate JCI’s purchase centres, and understand procurement policies directly through the app.

Farmers can track the status of their payments for raw jute sold under the MSP operation, ensuring transparency and trust. It also includes a chatbot for real-time queries.
