Renowned celebrity hairstylist Jawed Habib has been trending on social media after a video of him spitting in a woman’s head during a haircut has gone viral on the internet. While the viral clip continues to garner a lot of attention on social media, reports making rounds on the internet suggest that the incident occurred in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, during a training seminar hosted by the popular hairstylist.
The viral video features a woman sitting on a chair while Habib tries to comb her hair before commencing with her haircut. The ace hairstylist continues, “Agar pani ki kami hai tho (If you don’t have water then),” before spitting on her head and then continues “Iss thook me jaan hai (There’s life in this spit).” Check out the viral video here:

While the video continues to spread like wildfire, netizens have come out slamming Habib’s actions. In addition to Twitterati reaction, a clip of the woman from the seminar has also been making rounds on the internet. After criticising Habib’s on-stage misbehaviour, she even revealed that she couldn’t go ahead with the haircut.

Habib’s inappropriate on-stage behaviour has landed him in trouble as the National Commission for Women’s chairperson has reported the matter to Uttar Pradesh’s Director General of Police, urging him to take appropriate action. “@NCWIndia has taken cognizance of the incident. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @dgpup to immediately investigate the veracity of this viral video and take appropriate action against the hairstylist. The action taken must be apprised to the Commission at the earliest,” the National Commission for Women tweet.
