Samsung Galaxy S22 series goes official at the start of this year and the company launches the handsets with all pride in the premium flagship segment. At the time of launch, Samsung confirmed that the devices are protected by the IP68 rating which makes the phone water and dust resistant, nevertheless, it seems that a user has confirmed that the IP68 rating doesn’t make any difference. Let’s have a look at the latest news.

A Twitter user with the handle Bakul Bhandari has shared some images of his Samsung Galaxy S22 with vapors on the camera sensors. According to the user, the company has cheated the consumers by claiming that the smartphone comes with water resistance tech. IP68 certification means that the phone can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters, but his phone gets damaged within 2minutes.
The tweet received a plethora of reactions where some people criticize him for not knowing the fact that “If your phone is hot and you wash it or dump it in cold water, there’s a very high chance of vapour formation.”

It’s not even suggested to do
iP rating is for accidental protection against rain, shower, spilled fluid

There are several reactions for the users suggesting that the IP68 rating is just a gimmick to hike the price of the smartphone. IP68 is supposed to stop water or liquid from entering the phone but when you take your phone with such issues to service centers then they ask for repair charges saying liquid damage which is unfair on buyers who spend way too much money on a phone which is supposed to be water resistant.
Ye Brand IP68 k naam par Price Hike karte h Par agar Service Center jao to yahi bolte h ki Liquid damage ki koi warranty nahi…. To bhai ye batao brand walo IP68 hone k baad Pani jata kese andar h aur isme brand ki kami h to customer kyu pay kare😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
