Shout out to the Comic con India (CCI) for getting us a slice of Metaverse with their glitzy new NFT collectibles dubbed the ‘The Non Fungible League.’ This is India’s greatest pop culture experience foray into the virtual world and all things non-fungible! The NFTs are apparently supes in the Metaverse.

CCI said that the NFTs are based on the ETH blockchain. Ace Indian animator and comic artist Abhijit Kini created the supe ‘Non Fungible Man’ for CCI. The ‘Non Fungible Man’ will represent the NFT collectibles as a mascot of sorts. Karan Kalra, Director CCI remarked that with the emerging Metaverse and Web3.0 the community wanted to create something that would abridge Web3 and pop culture. CCI envisions creating long term value for every user signing up for the NFT leagues.
CCI founder Jatin Varma said that there will be multiple character drops and development of IP into animation and comics. Jatin also hinted at prospect events in the metaverse!
Founded in 2012, now a decade ol’ CCI hosts its massively popular annual events at Mumbai, B’lore, Delhi and Hyd’bad. The weekend events feature some of the best desi artists, animators and cosplay you could ever imagine.
