BTS ‘7Fates: Chakho’: Jungkook To Play Half-Tiger, RM To Play Crime Expert In Upcoming Webtoon

HYBE recently announced that BTS will feature in an upcoming webtoon and web novel series titled 7Fates: Chakho. Set in a futuristic city, the fantasy story revolves around characters inspired by the “Chakhogapsa” tiger hunters from the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. The webtoon that draws from Korean folklore and mythology will see seven men who are brought together by fate as the title suggests. It is set to release on January 15, 2022 on Naver’s Webtoon platform.

Ahead of the release, HYBE has shared a slew of teasers that reveal details of the plot and characters played by BTS members. We also know that the webtoon’s original soundtrack will be produced by Suga and Jungkook.

First up, Jungkook is all set to play Zeha a half-human and half-tiger who has to keep his dual identity a secret. In an interview, the singer revealed that the webtoon will see battles between humans and tigers.

Suga will play Cein who was attacked and almost eaten by a tiger.

Kim Taehyung aka V, on the other hand, plays Jooan who ends up falling in love with tiger. His character has to deal with the fallout of a forbidden bond. Fans sure are excited to find out who his love interest will be.

Band leader RM is set to play Dogeon a crime expert with a tragic backstory.

Jin plays an archer whose entire family was killed by a tiger.

Joining the line-up of supernatural characters, Jimin plays Haru, who used to be a rock guarding the gate to the realm of tigers and has transformed into a human.

J-Hope plays Hosu, a young boy who has been kidnapped by a tiger.

7 Fates: Chakho will release on January 15, 2022. WEBTOON has already released teaser chapters on their website.
