Netflix’s scandalous Regency-era drama Bridgerton is getting is coming back for another season. The first season saw Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne Bridgerton make her debut in society and get together with the very hot Duke Simon Basset played by Regé-Jean Page and left fans wanting more. Bridgerton Season 2 will follow Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton as he takes on the marriage market and Simone Ashley’s Kate Sharma, a new character and his love interest.
The last time we saw Anthony Bridgerton, he was still being a bit of a prick to his sister and by the end of the first season, he was left heartbroken after the abrupt end of his secret love affair. The finale wasn’t subtle is hinting that he’s next in line on the market’s social season. Based on Julia Quinn’s novel ‘The Viscount Who Loved Me’, the next instalment will chronicle the relationship between Kate and Anthony in an enemies-to-lovers plot that’s already the talk of the ton. Apart from the promise of drama worth publishing in Lady Whistledown’s gossip column, with the introduction of the Sharmas, the show is once again going to subvert convention by featuring characters of Indian descent.

An image from the first episode of Season 2 has Kate and her sister Edwina (played by Charithra Chandran) lounging on the couch with their pet dog.
In another image, Lady Featherington (Polly Walker) can be seen in matching outfits with her daughters, making quite the head-turning entry.
I for one, can’t wait to see what Daphne Bridgerton is up to. This photo confirms that she will be present in episode 3 perhaps to catch up with brother Anthony and hopefully give him some advice on relationships.
And look, it’s the Bridgerton brothers facing off!
Episode 4 has the most interesting bunch of pictures. In one of them, Kate can be seen with a gun in hand joining the boys for a hunting session alongside Anthony, Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Jack (new cast member Rupert Young).
In the most hypable picture by far – Kate and Anthony are at a ball which is likely their first. Who else has goosebumps?
We also get a glimpse of Penelope and Eloise. Knowing that Penelope was the popular gossip columnist Lady Whistletown all this while, she has perhaps shared the information with her best friend.
