Actor Dhanush announced that his character Avik San a.k.a The Lone Wolf will return in the Gray Man sequel. The actor starred in Hollywood for the very first time in Anthony and Joe Russo directed Netflix hit which premiered on July 22. On Saturday, Dhanush took to Instagram to share an audio clip where he was heard giving a warning to Ryan Gosling’s character CIA mercenary court Gentry a.k.a Sierra Six as he said “Six, This is Lone Wolf. I hear we are both looking for the same man. I want to offer you some advice. You are wasting your time because if I find him first, there will be nothing for you to look for and if you find him first then I will find you. Nothing personal.”

The Gray Man is a Netflix hit which premiered on the OTT platform on July 22. It is a story based on a 2009 novel written by Mark Greaney. The story has Ryan Gosling playing the role of a CIA mercenary spy Sierra Six. It stars Dhanush, Chris Evans, Rege Jean Page, Jessica Henwick and Ana De Armas.
Directors Russo Brothers said that the Gray Man has received a phenomenal response from the viewers. They added in a joint statement that they appreciate the “enthusiasm that fans across the world have had for this film”.
The Russo Brothers have earlier directed action films such as Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame.
