The development of Apple’s most costly product to date has been ongoing for a while. It has been the subject of several leaks and rumors over the last few years, and now that its rivals are moving forward, it would seem that Apple is giving “Project Titan” another boost.

For those who don’t know, Project Titan refers to a rumored autonomous Apple Car, and renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thinks the tech giant will probably form a new Apple Car project team until December.

Apple will probably create a new Apple Car project team by the end of 2022. Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted something. A new team is reportedly being formed by the Cupertino-based computer company to advance the project, which sat inactive during the epidemic.

Apple is not renowned for sharing information about its forthcoming products or those it has been working on, but Project Titan-related leaks have been going around since 2014. According to sources, the business allegedly established a front organization named SixtyEight Research to work on the driverless vehicle.

Recall that Kuo said earlier this year that Apple needed to reorganize the Apple Car team for the car to be built within the next three years. The Apple Car project team was disbanded a while ago. To reach mass production by 2025, the organization must be changed over the next three to six months, according to Ming-Chi Kuo’s March article.

Since 2014, the project has seen many significant setbacks, including leadership changes. According to a previous story, Apple may have frozen hiring for the team working on driverless vehicles because few officials were satisfied with the team’s development. Apple is also working on a car software project named “IronHeart” in addition to the autonomous vehicle effort.
