The actor also stated the reason behind his wish to be part of the show, “A lot happens over a cup of coffee on Koffee With Karan. While celebs are made to spill the beans on their personal lives, many even just let their guards down and speak about the most controversial and protected part of their lives”.

The actor has stated that he would never disrespect somebody in public. The statements were made days prior after his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu was featured on Koffee with Karan’s show. The comment was viewed as his response to Samantha’s comments on Koffee With Karan that she and Chay hadn’t reunited in an “amicable” manner following their breakup.

Additionally, Chaitanya Akkineni spoke frankly about avoiding letting his problems affect his career decisions. The actor stated, “I’ve sort of created myself in a way where my personal life doesn’t affect my professional life when asked how he draws himself back and then moves forward while dealing with a huge personal setback in life. It can be a little annoying and frustrating when your personal life dominates the media and becomes the headline rather than your professional life. Your personal and professional life shouldn’t be linked.

Interestingly, all of this happened pretty soon after Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar debuted on the chat programme. Samantha revealed during the episode that life has been tough since she and Naga Chaitanya split up. She also confessed that they still hold grudges against one another.
