Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has introduced a new two-fare model for all new bookings: Platinum and Silver. This streamlined structure replaces the current three-tier system, and is designed to make travel planning clearer and more flexible.
“Our goal is to make booking decisions easier for guests,” said Clas Eckholt, vice president commercial, TUI Cruises. “With two fares and more flexible options in the Platinum fare, guests gain greater clarity and freedom in planning their trips.” Existing bookings will remain unchanged.
Platinum: More Flexibility
- One free rebooking up to 90 days before departure
- Cancellations possible up to 180 days before departure for a small fee
- Adjusted policies for voyages of 22+ days and top suite categories
- Continued benefits: free choice of cabin/suite and deck, early booking of shore excursions
Silver: Same Services as Before
- Unchanged scope of included services
- Cabin/suite and deck assigned by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises
- Shore excursions bookable 14 days after publication
Additional Enhancement from 2026
Starting January 3, 2026, all guests will enjoy a selection of complimentary soft drinks throughout the day. Other inclusive services in both fares remain, such as champagne on arrival, daily refilled minibar, 24-hour cabin service, gourmet full board, and—depending on the itinerary—included experiences like Zodiac excursions.
