The reimagined villas and residences, designed by London-based studio 1508, are crafted to blur the line between indoors and outdoors. Light-toned materials, organic textures, and splashes of color inspired by the island’s flora and fauna create a calm yet dynamic atmosphere—what the team describes as a “living canvas.” The new look aims to enhance the sense of tranquility and connection to the island’s natural beauty that has long defined the resort’s appeal.

The renovation ushers in a diverse culinary lineup designed by the Elastic design team, with each restaurant celebrating a different facet of global and local cuisine. Highlights include Angara, a modern take on Indian tandoor dining; Awase, where Japanese omakase meets pan-Asian flair; and Radici, channeling rustic Italian trattoria charm.

Guests can also savor Mediterranean dishes at Chaloupe, dine barefoot at Ti Pwason, sip locally inspired sundowners at Blu’Zil, and explore the island’s rum culture at the intimate Rum Library. Beloved beachside venue La Plaz Beach Grill returns on Île aux Cerfs for fresh seafood and cocktails under swaying palms.

Wellness takes center stage with the debut of Oseyan Spa, a one-of-a-kind overwater spa perched above the lagoon. The expanded sanctuary combines global wellness practices with Mauritian-inspired rituals.
