With cinema halls starting to close in many states, due to the sudden spike of Covid-19 cases in the country, we may soon find ourselves in another lockdown phase once again. And we may once again go back to online streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and others for entertainment. While many upcoming movies like ‘Jersey’, ‘RRR’ and many others, have been postponed indefinitely due to the Omicron scare, OTT platforms continue to provide us with a fresh supply of entertaining shows every week. And with entertaining shows like ‘Campus Diaries’, ‘Human’, ‘Cubicles 2’ and many more all set to release this month, get ready to binge-watch these shows at home this January.

Here’s the list of new shows releasing this month:

Ozark Season 4

Martin Byrde aka Jason Bateman returns on Netflix with the fourth and final season of ‘Ozark’. Given the current trend, the makers of the crime drama have split the final season into two parts, with the first one releasing this month on the 21st.

Kaun Banegi Shikharwati

Gauravv Chawla and Ananya Banerjee have managed to bring an ensemble cast comprising of Naseeruddin Shah, Soha Ali Khan, Lara Dutta, Cyrus Sahukar and Kritika Kamra for an entertaining comedy-drama. The series will be streaming live on ZEE5 from January 7.

Campus Diaries

MX Player has managed to bring all the young talents from OTT under one roof for its new show, ‘Campus Diaries’. From popular YouTuber Harsh Beniwal to Ritvik Sahore and Saloni Gaur, the coming-of-age drama releasing on January 7, is sure to take you down memory lane.

Ranjish Hi Sahi

Based in the 70s’, Mahesh Bhatt’s upcoming show Ranjish Hi Sahi created huge waves on the internet due to its storyline, which hints at the filmmaker’s past equation with yesteryear actress, Parveen Babi. With Amala Paul, Amrita Puri and Tahir Raj Bhasin carrying the show on their shoulders, get ready to catch all the action on VOOT on January 13.

Cubicles 2

One of TVF’s most-loved shows, Cubicles, also marks its return this month with a new season. While the plot of the series revolves around a simple fresh out of college guy, Piyush Prajapati, watching him face his first experiences in an Indian IT company is surely going to be a joyride for all. The show which is streaming live on Sony Liv from January 7, will also feature your favourite actors: Abhishek Chauhan, Nidhi Bishit and Arnav Bhasin as well.

Human

Helmed by ace filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Human, which will be available on Hotstar from January 14, will take you to the depths of the medical world, giving an insight into its dark side. And what makes this a must-watch is the addition of a stellar star cast comprising of Shefali Shah, Kriti Kulhari, Ram Kapoor and Seema Biswas in lead roles.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein

If you love crime thrillers, then Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shweta Tripathi ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ is one show that you don’t want to miss. Releasing on Netflix on January 14, this thriller is expected to keep you on the edge of your seats.

Too Hot to Handle Season 3

One of Netflix’s most popular reality shows ‘Too Hot to Handle’ returns with its third season. With the first episode arriving on January 19, a new episode is expected to arrive every day throughout the week.
