With scientists and medical experts discovering newer strains of Covid-19 in the past few weeks, people have again been forced to stay indoors and avoid stepping out amid the Covid surge. And that has allowed the world to spend extra hours on the internet, as a result of which Wordle has managed to grab everyone’s attention.

If you’re still wondering what’s Wordle and why is it trending on the internet, then we’re here to help you. It’s a straightforward word game, similar to crossword, available on the website Power Language. While word game lovers around the globe are having a gala time participating in the brainteasing game, Wordle surely isn’t that easy as other word games available on the internet.

While each player is given six attempts every day to guess the five-letter word, things get pretty exciting decoding the six rows and five columns, each representing a letter on the Wordle website. (A correct letter in the right block turns it green, if not then you know you’ve guessed the letter wrong as the block turns yellow and grey when the alphabet isn’t a part of the word).

The online word game has become an instant hit with internet users since the makers allowed one to share the result on Twitter. From celebrities like Jimmy Fallon to desi-netizens, Wordle has grabbed everyone’s attention and continues to allure and register more users each day.

Wordle has become quite an obsession and the competitive nature of the game allowing you to show off your score on social media has been the key for it. Plus, the intriguing colour coded message hinting at the result makes it an instant hit with the masses.
