WhatsApp is striving to enhance the chat messaging platform for consumers, and one of the new additions the Meta-owned business is working on right now is Community, which will make WhatsApp discussions more meaningful.

A new update to the WhatsApp Messenger beta for iOS has been published. 2.22.1.1 This new update has hidden references to the creation of Communities, which will be addressed in a future update. The functionality was initially seen in the WhatsApp Android beta and is now accessible in the iOS beta, indicating that it will be available on both platforms. Admins may combine up to 10 groups into one community using WhatApp’s new Community feature, which allows group members to see the content of all linked groups. This is identical to a standard group chat. The administrators of a community will have more power than the administrators of a group.

The new WhatsApp community communications, like WhatsApp groups, are intended to be end-to-end encrypted. Users will also be unable to browse groups that have been unlinked from a group admin when they join a community.

Furthermore, whenever users leave any community, they will no longer be able to see the community’s associated groups. Community administrators, for illustration, will be able to select who can and cannot send messages to a group, as well as limit the messaging function to themselves. The new community function will be extremely beneficial, particularly to creators and entrepreneurs. They will be able to form a community of individuals who have common interests. As a result, a corporation or creative will be able to expand the reach of their products or material. We don’t know when the WhatsApp community feature will be accessible to WhatsApp beta users because it is presently in development.
