Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed a baby boy on Saturday and shared the happy news on Instagram. The couple had announced their preganany earlier this year and Sonam was recently seen on Koffee With Karan. As the Sonam and Anand entered the new phase of their life, congratulatory wishes and messages came in pouring of the new couple. Neetu Kapoor congratulated Anil Kapoor and his wife, whilst Kareena Kapoor, Farah Khan congratulated the couple.

The couple shared a note that read,“”On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand.”

Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding co-star, Kareena Kapoor shared a photo of the couple and congratulated them. Farah Khan shared the same statement and wished the new parents and grandparents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. She wrote, “Congratulations proud parents N even prouder grandparents”.

Anil Kapoor also shared a statement on his Instagram, announcing that the birth of his grandson. Several celebs lik Anupam Kher, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Kirti Sanon and more congratulated the family.
