At the inaugural event of the first edition of World Audio Visual & Entertainment, aka the WAVES Summit 2025, Shah Rukh Khan sat down with Deepika Padukone for an enthralling chat, hosted by Karan Johar. During the conversion, SRK was challenged to romance the bottle kept on the dais. The ace actor didn’t waste any breath showcasing why he is known as the King of Romance on the silver screen and IRL. Grabbing the trembling bottle, SRK began reciting his iconic dialogue from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012)
Teri aankhon ki namkeen mastiyan…
SRK’s delivery left Deepika Padukone in splits as he playfully scolded her, “Don’t interrupt while I am trying to romance.” As the audience waited with bated breaths, Shah Rukh Khan resumed again
Teri aankhon ki namkeen mastiyan… Teri hansi ki beparwah gustakhiyan… Teri zulfon ki lehrati angdaiyan … nahi bhoolunga main… jab tak hai jaan, jab tak hai jaan… Jab tak!
As the auditorium at the Jio World Center erupted in thunderous applause, SRK sipped from the bottle depicting a kiss that sent the crowd in a frenzy.
Director Karan Johar, the moderator of the chat, cheekily quipped, “The bottle just had a baby.”
