Shah Rukh Khan isn’t just a Bollywood actor, but a global icon. While the superstar needs no reason to trend on social media, Shah Rukh Khan is currently the talk of the town a hoax terror attack on Mannat.
According to a PTI report published in The Times Of India, Mumbai Police had received a bomb threat call from a Madhya Pradesh man, who identified himself as Jitesh Thakur and claimed to have plotted a massive ‘nuclear bomb’ attack in Mumbai. The report also suggested that the man warned Mumbai Police about various bombing locations including Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, Mannat.
While nothing suspicious was found at the mentioned locations, Mumbai Police were successful in tracking down the caller. “Bomb detection and disposal squads and sniffer dog units combed all these spots but nothing suspicious was found. The caller was traced to Jabalpur, following which local police detained him. A team of Government Railway Police (GRP) here has left for MP to arrest him,” the report shared an official statement as well.
Confirming the same, GRP Commissioner, Quiser Khalid, also shared an update on the incident on social media. He tweeted, “Yesterday we had received a threat call regarding bombing of CSMT & Kurla Rly Stn. We @grpmumbai with @rpfcr carried out thorough checking of the entire area but nothing suspicious was found. We have located the caller at Jabalpur & taking action @DGPMaharashtra @Dwalsepatil.”

While Shah Rukh Khan has resumed the shoot of his much-awaited project ‘Pathan’ after delaying it for weeks due to Aryan Khan’s arrest in the Mumbai cruise drugs case, the Badshah of Bollywood has turned his attention on the comeback project. While the Siddharth Anand action-drama will also feature Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles, SRK is expected to make cameo appearances in ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ and ‘Tiger 3’ as well. In addition to his comeback project and special appearances in various movies, Shah Rukh is also reported to team up with South filmmaker Atlee Kumar and Rajkummar Hirani soon.
