Poco X4 GT BIS Listing Suggests Imminent Launch In India; Key Specifications Revealed


Poco is set to unveil the X4 GT smartphone in the Indian market as recently, the device appeared on the official website of the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS). According to the report, the phone will be coming with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and it is said to be a rebranded variant of the Xiaomi 12i and Xiaomi 12X that debuted a few weeks ago.

A well-known tipster’s report suggests that the Poco X4 GT handset appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) official website with 22031216I as model number and it is being said that the device has been approved by the authority. Furthermore, it is tipped to launch as a rebranded Xiaomi 12i or Xiaomi 12X.

A report sheds some light on the key specification of the Poco X4 GT handset. It suggests that the phone will run on Android 12 and it will sport a 6.6 inch LCD display. Furthermore, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset could power this upcoming handset. The X4 GT from Poco is tipped to be offered in 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB storage variants.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Poco X4 GT handset is likely to get a 48 megapixel lens on the back along with an ultra-wide angle lens and a macro shooter of 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel, respectively. For selfies and video calls, the Poco X4 GT could get a 20 megapixel lens on the front. The IMEI Database listing and the BIS listing suggests that the Poco X4 GT could soon get its launch date for the Indian market.
