edVijay Shekhar Sharma, CEO of Paytm is reportedly arrested by the Delhi police back in February for rash and negligent driving. However, later Vijay was released on bail, and it has been reported that he was driving a Jaguar Land Rover when he bumped into the car of the District Commissioner of Police of South Delhi. According to the FIR, the incident took place in front of The Mother’s International School On February 22 at Aurobindo Marg Delhi. Furthermore, the report also confirmed that on the same date, FIR was also lodged by Constable Dipak Kumar, the driver of DCP. Sharma fled from the scene after hitting the car, but Kumar proactively noted down his car’s number and informed the DCP.
In the initial investigation police found out that the car is registered to a company in Gurugram and the folks at the company informed that the car is with Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

“Constable Pradeep, an operator, was with me when we reached Mother’s International School and found a traffic jam there. I saw a gathering of people dropping their children (to school). I slowed down and asked Pradeep to get down to clear the traffic,” The Indian Express quoted Delhi Police spokesperson Suman Nalwa.
