Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar has been witnessing a lot of backlash from the audience for remaking the popular song ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’. Amid all the trolls singer Falguni Pathak said that she at first felt like puking after listening to Neha Kakkar’s song O Sajna. In an interview with Delhi Times, she said, “I got to know about the remixed version three-four days back. The first reaction was not good. The purity that the original song’s performer infused into it has been ruined by the remake. The video and illustration were so innocent in the original version, but they ruined it. Falguni further said that as her followers are criticizing the song, she doesn’t believe she needs to take any action.

Neha Kakkar’s brand-new song, O Sajna, was released earlier this week. It is a remake of the well-known song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai by Falguni Pathak from 1999. Since the song was launched, listeners have criticized Neha and the song for “ruining” the original.

The music video for “O Sajna” features Neha alongside Dhanashree Verma and Priyank Sharma. The song includes Jaani’s additional lyrics along with the original’s hook line. Tanishk Bagchi, who is well-known for his remixes of Bollywood music, composed the new version. Falguni had shared several social media articles criticizing the song and attacking Neha.

Neha Kakkar shared two cryptic notes on her Instagram stories in response to the harassment and criticism she has been receiving. According to the first note, she wrote, “If speaking negatively about me, calling me names, or otherwise abusing me makes them feel good and if they believe it will spoil my day. I’m sad to have to tell them that I’m too fortunate to experience unpleasant days. This God’s child is constantly joyful because God keeps me joyful.”

In another IG story, Neha added, “And for those who are extremely unhappy to see me successful and pleased. I’m sorry about them. Bechaare.. Comment away, please. Even deleting them won’t do. Because I am certain that everyone is aware of who NEHA KAKKAR is.”
