
The U.S., Europe, Japan, and Canada have committed to ISS operations until 2030, though Russia plans to withdraw after 2028. The station will be deorbited using a SpaceX-built vehicle into Point Nemo in the Pacific Ocean, a remote “spacecraft cemetery” 2,688 kilometers from the nearest land.
