Kangana Ranaut Pens A Long Note Praising South Actors; Warns Them Of Bollywood’s ‘Corruption’

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for sharing her views on controversial topics without any filters, recently took to social media and penned a note praising South actors. But that wasn’t all, as the four-time National Award-winner even warned them about the ‘corruption’ in Bollywood as well.

Kangana, whose Twitter handle was suspended last year, took to Instagram stories and shared a screenshot of a news article focussing on South sequels and wrote, “Some of the reasons why South content and superstars are such a rage…1) They are deeply rooted in Indian culture, 2) They love their families and relationships are conventional not westernised, 3) their professionalism and passion is unparalleled.”

Apart from praising the South superstars, Kangana even warned them about the ‘corruption’ in Bollywood as she concluded the note. “They should not allow Bollywood to corrupt them,” she wrote while adding Samantha Prabhu’s item song, ‘Oo Antava’ from ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ to the post.

Meanwhile, the recently-released Telegu film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, has been on a juggernaut run in the domestic circuit. The movie was released in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil is inching closer to the Rs 100 crore mark in given pandemic conditions.

On the other hand, Kangana, who was last seen in actress-politician J. Jayalalithaa’s biopic ‘Thalaivii’ will soon be seen in Razneesh Razy Ghai directorial ‘Dhaakad’ with Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. She also has a couple of interesting projects like ‘Tejas’, ‘Emergency’, ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’ and ‘The Incarnation: Sita’ in her kitty. Apart from acting, Kangana is also producing Sai Kabir’s romantic drama ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ starring Avneet Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
