The Gionee G13 Pro is the talk of the town for wrong reasons that was released in China recently. From the notched display to the flat side frame and diagonally positioned twin cameras, G13 Pro has an iPhone 13-inspired appearance and runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS with the entire HMS ecosystem. It’s the first non-Huawei smartphone with Harmony OS.
Based on the renders, the smartphone features a flat frame, camera module, and even a notch for the selfie camera, similar to Apple’s iPhone 13. The Gionee G13 Pro smartphone runs HarmonyOS and is powered by a Unisoc T310 SoC with up to 128GB of inbuilt storage and 4GB of RAM.

A Smart Mode and an Elderly Mode are also included in the Gionee G13 Pro. These modes, as the name implies, makes it easier for the elderly to operate this smartphone. The base 4GB + 32GB storage model of the newly introduced Gionee G13 Pro costs CNY 529 (approximately Rs. 6,200), while the 4GB + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 699. (roughly Rs. 8,200).
Nonetheless, the phone is facing so much backlash due to it’s similar design to iPhone 13. Netizens are reacting in a sarcastic manner on Twitter as Gionee lifted the iPhone design including the camera notch.

Reminds us back in the day when there used to be knock-off iPhones. The outside looks exactly like an iPhone but runs on Android system 😁

Moreover, the G13 Pro comes in three color combinations: First Snow Crystal, Sea Blue, and Star Party Purple. The iPhone 13 is a timeless smartphone that you should get in 2022. Isn’t it difficult to find flaws in a smart, from its design to the underlying technology. We, like the majority of you, have one — it’s well worth it. Even in its most basic form, the iPhone 13 is too pricey. Gionee, on the other hand, provides a solution.

Looking at the design of the smartphone instead of the similarities in the title! Who won’t say it isn’t an iPhone? The Gionee 13 Pro has to be the most “iPhone-ey iPhone clone” we’ve ever seen, at least according to the latest renderings.
It has all of the design characteristics of the phone that came out of Cupertino giant, but it comes at a price that may put the official Apple iPhone 13 cases to shame.
