zAccording to Yahoo! Finance survey, the Facebook turned Meta was declared as the worst company of 2021.

The Yahoo! Finance gives the list of best and worst companies of 2021. Based on the survey reports, the Meta received almost half more votes than the runner-up, Chinese e-commerce company, Alibaba.

Besides, Microsoft takes the crown as the best company of 2021. Microsoft hit a $2 trillion market capitalisation including a 53% yearly increase in the stock price.

The open-ended survey was conducted by Yahoo! Finance which received 1,541 responses.

Although, there are many reasons why Facebook turned Meta is the 2021s worst app. Many people claimed that Meta is “undermining democracy worldwide”.

Some people accused that Meta has huge affect on mental health as it mostly focuses on teens and children. Also, a few individuals have felt that the “free-speech-police”.

Based on a few insights, Facebook is ready to acknowledge and apologize for what it did and donate a huge sum of profits to a foundation to retain the goodwill.

But, it seems like that Meta-owned company cannot retain its credibility as most of the people dislike its services and think that the company cannot redeem from its mistakes.
