China’s e-commerce logistics index rose to 110.9 points in July 2023, up 0.3 points from June, as per the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
The satisfaction rate sub-index increased by 1.5 points to 101.2, and the logistics timeliness sub-index grew for the seventh month, up 0.3 points.
The logistics volume sub-index fell 0.8 points to 121.8.
The decline in July has been attributed to the cessation of e-commerce sales promotion activities that were initiated in June, according to a statement from the organisation. The e-commerce logistics index, compiled using data from JD.com, has its baseline set at 100 points.
