Bangladesh’s cabinet committee on economic affairs (CCEA) recently approved the draft of the Export Policy 2021-2024, setting an annual export target of $80 billion. The committee convened its first meeting virtually this year, chaired by the country’s finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal. Kamal said the current annual export target is $60 billion.

“All exporters will get uniformed facilities under the export policy. Besides we will provide policy support regarding challenges over Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR),” the minister was quoted as saying by Bangladeshi media reports.
