Popular director-producer Anurag Kashyap recently shared a post on social media warning aspiring actors and others about fake casting calls for the next season of his much-talked-about web show ‘Sacred Games’. While the first two seasons of the Netflix drama turned out to be quite a hit with the audience, a fake profile on Instagram has been sharing posts related to casting calls for the third season of the crime-thriller. In the post shared by the ace filmmaker, Kashyap even asked his followers to report to the account and within no time the concerned Instagram account was deactivated.

Apart from refuting reports of the third season of ‘Sacred Games’, Kashyap also mentioned that he is going to take legal action by filing an FIR against the main culprit. “This man rajbeer_casting is a scamster. Pls report him. There is no season 3 of Scared games happening. I am filing an FIR against this person,” Kashyap wrote by sharing a screenshot of the fake casting call.

Helmed by Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Neeraj Ghaywan, ‘Sacred Games’ season one and two starring talented actors like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Kubbra Sait, Pankaj Tripathi and others turned out to become one of the most-loved Indian crime-drama on Netflix.

Last year, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had admitted that there is no third season of ‘Sacred Games’. “Whatever had to be said from the original novel has already been said. There is nothing left in Vikram Chandra’s novel to be put in Season 3,” Siddiqui said.

Meanwhile, Kashyap had recently revealed that he is currently working on the script of his next project starring Kriti Sanon. While there are no other details available about the project, we are pretty excited to see the Sanon team up with the maverick filmmaker.
