Akshay Kumar, who is currently enjoying his time off at the Ranthambore National Park with his family, recently shared a couple of new posters of ‘Bachchan Pandey’ with a new theatrical release date. While many much-awaited movies like SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ and many others, pushed their release date due to the sudden spike in Covid cases in the country, Akshay Kumar surprised everyone by announcing that the Farhad Samji directorial will release in cinema halls on Holi, 2022.

Taking to Twitter, Akshay shared two new intriguing posters and wrote, “Action. Comedy. Romance. Drama. L-O-A-D-I-N-G this Holi! #SajidNadiadwala’s #BachchanPandey in cinemas on 18th March, 2022.” Check out the new posters of ‘Bachchan Pandey’ here:

The Farhad Samji directorial which also feature Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles, was initially slated to release on December 25, 2020, but after much delays, the makers have finally decided to release the movie in theatres on March 18, 2022.

Talking about the decision to release ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in cinema halls, producer Sajid Nadiadwala told ETimes, “All my films rate in the top 10 films on satellite, but, for me, my films are meant for cinemas and that is where they will always release.”

While Akshay’s rugged avatar has grabbed everyone’s attention and become the talk of the town, his potential to allure the audience to the cinema halls will be tested once again. Apart from ‘Bachchan Pandey’, the 54-year-old actor has a long list of interesting projects like ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Gorkha’, ‘OMG 2’, ‘Selfiee’ and ‘Mission Cinderella’ in his kitty.
