Los Angeles-based Pegasus Elite Aviation has added a third Gulfstream G650 to its managed charter fleet, the company announced this month. The aircraft, tail number N928DJ, is now based at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) and available for global charter bookings — bringing the operator’s total large-cabin inventory to 11 aircraft.
The new addition stands out within the ultra-long-range category for two marquee amenities rarely found in combination: Starlink high-speed global Wi-Fi and a dedicated master bedroom with a full-size bed. The aircraft is also configured for just 10 passengers, offering a notably spacious cabin relative to the G650’s maximum capacity.
The Gulfstream G650 is powered by twin Rolls-Royce BR725 turbofan engines, carries a range of approximately 7,000 nautical miles, and cruises at Mach 0.85 to 0.90 — enabling nonstop routing from Los Angeles to London, New York, or Tokyo without a technical stop. A maximum operating altitude of 51,000 feet allows the aircraft to fly above most commercial traffic and weather systems, reducing routing delays on transcontinental itineraries.
The Starlink integration is particularly noteworthy for business travelers. The satellite internet system provides continuous high-speed connectivity over open ocean routes — a persistent gap for private aviation clients on transatlantic and transpacific legs — making real-time video conferencing or HD streaming viable for the duration of a flight.
“This aircraft represents the highest standard of modern private aviation,” said Adam Stanley, CEO of Pegasus Elite Aviation. “The addition of N928DJ is not just an expansion of our fleet size, but a fulfillment of our promise to global customers — to provide a flight experience that combines speed, safety, and ultimate personalized service.”
Van Nuys Airport, long considered the primary aviation hub for Los Angeles-area business executives and entertainment industry clients, serves as the home base for the Pegasus fleet. With N928DJ, Pegasus now operates three G650s alongside its broader large-cabin offerings — a fleet concentration at the top tier of the ultra-long-range market that signals the company’s continued push for market share in premium transcontinental charter.
