Golmaal 5: Ajay Devgn-Led OG Gang Returns To Shoot For Rohit Shetty’s Blockbuster With A Big Star [WATCH]

The Golmaal franchise just got an upgrade as shooting begins for the fifth in Rohit Shetty’s comedy film series, with the return of the OG gang led by Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tusshar Kapoor.

In the video shared by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Sharman Joshi rejoins the squad. However, the bumper surprise is reserved for later—Akshay Kumar! The 58-year-old Hera Pheri (2000) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) star walks in as the rest of the crew erupt in euphoria. The actor sported a bald and bearded look with traditional kurta pajamas and dark sunglasses. On his Instagram post dropping the update, Akshay wrote:

Happy Birthday, @itsrohitshetty 🎉 On your birthday, the madness just got bigger and louder. Excited to be joining this crazy family of Golmaal 5! Let the chaos begin.”

However, the real excitement seems to be for the comeback of one of the OGs. One netizen commented, “Sharman Joshi is Back Awesome.” Another wrote in excitement, “Sharman Joshi is the real surprise.”

Golmaal was released in 2006 and since then the franchise has seen four movie starring the usual suspects of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade, who brought alive the quirky, chaotic script in Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), and Golmaal Again (2017).
