Anantara Chiang Mai Resort Unveils Lanna Garden Terrace Suite

Anantara Chiang Mai Resort unveiled the Lanna Garden Terrace Suite, a new signature accommodation that reflects the spirit of northern Thailand through space, privacy, and design. The launch coincides with the reimagining of the resort’s entire suite portfolio as Lanna Suites, a name that more anchors the experience in the region’s cultural and architectural heritage.

Spanning 1,615 square feet, the Lanna Garden Terrace Suite offers a sense of seclusion in the heart of the city. Floor-to-ceiling doors open onto a private tropical garden. Inside, warm teakwood, soft textiles, and filtered natural light create an atmosphere of understated luxury. The suite may also connect to an adjoining Lanna Garden View Suite, forming an expansive private residence ideal for families or extended stays.

The transition from Kasara Suites to Lanna Suites reflects a deliberate shift towards a more place-led identity. Designed by the late Kerry Hill, Anantara Chiang Mai balances modernist restraint with indigenous materials and a sensitivity to its riverside setting. The Lanna Suite collection extends this philosophy through thoughtful privileges that elevate the guest journey.

Beyond the suites, the resort unfolds as a tranquil riverside sanctuary. The historic 1921 House, once the British Consulate, now hosts destination dining experiences, while river journeys aboard the Dibba Yana Chitta and restorative spa rituals offer immersive connections to Chiang Mai’s rich heritage.

Located just 15 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport, the resort offers a balance of seclusion and cultural discovery in one of Thailand’s storied destinations.
