On November 25, 2025, Wynn Al Marjan Island commemorated a significant milestone in its construction: the topping off of the resort’s 70-story hotel tower, now standing at its full height of 1,000 feet.
Completion of the tower’s structural concrete was finalized less than two years after construction began, ahead of schedule and on pace for Wynn Al Marjan Island’s spring 2027 opening. Currently standing at 62 percent complete, the resort has proceeded into its full interior phase with the outfitting of accommodations, dining destinations, public spaces, and other venues.
Wynn Al Marjan Island’s ambitious pace represents Wynn Resorts’ commitment to this new development overlooking the Arabian Gulf. On November 25, Max Tappeiner, president of Wynn Al Marjan Island, was joined on the tower’s summit by senior leaders of Wynn Resorts and Wynn Design & Development, as well as executives from Marjan LLC and RAK Hospitality Holding, to celebrate the event. As a memento, executives and topping-off guests each received a steel bar, crafted from remnants of the tower’s construction and finished in 24-karat gold.
As the first integrated resort in the United Arab Emirates, Wynn Al Marjan Island spans nearly 150 acres on an archipelago located less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. When complete, accommodations will consist of 1,217 resort rooms and 297 suites in Enclave, the resort’s boutique hotel-within-a-hotel, as well as two Royal Apartments on the tower’s top floors, four Garden Townhomes, and 10 Marina Estates.
Wynn Al Marjan Island will also feature 22 restaurants and lounges, a five-star spa and salon, the skylit Parterre Shops showcasing exclusive boutiques, a daytime beach club, and an expansive poolscape of 12 crystal-blue swimming pools surrounded by cabanas and lush landscaping, a 1,378-foot private white-sand beach, and a deep-water marina designed to welcome superyachts from around the world. The resort’s Coral Court, meanwhile, has been designed as a bespoke celebrations and events venue, while The Showroom will present a state-of-the-art theater experience designed to host world-class performances.
