Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a memorable and romantic Karwa Chauth anecdote during her appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, recalling how she and Nick Jonas once struggled to spot the moon in the most unusual circumstances. “Humne itni ajeeb ajeeb jagahon pe moon ko dhundhne ki koshish ki hai,” she said, describing a time when they were at a packed stadium with 60–70 thousand people, clouds overhead and rain looming, yet the moon remained elusive even past 11 pm.

She then revealed the gesture that truly stood out, adding, “Romantic cheez batau? Voh apne plane mein clouds ke upar leke gaye aur chaand dekh ke vrat toda,” explaining how Nick took her up in a plane, above the clouds, so she could finally see the moon and break her fast. The story drew laughter and admiration from the audience for its sheer spontaneity and romance.

Reacting to the revelation, host Kapil Sharma jokingly asked if she broke her fast mid-flight. Priyanka laughed and replied, “Mithai bhi khayee,” before adding that her mother-in-law also sends her sargi every year, making the festival even more special for her.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently filming SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi and will next be seen in the Hollywood film The Bluff, where she plays a pirate. Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma was last seen on the big screen in the second instalment of his romantic comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
