JetBlue Opens BlueHouse, Its New Premium Lounge at JFK Airport

JetBlue has officially opened the doors to BlueHouse, the airline’s first airport lounge, at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 in time for peak holiday travel.

Just days after the airline revealed details and features of the space, the official opening is the newest milestone in JetBlue’s JetForward strategy to deliver more premium, customer-first experiences on the ground and in the air.

Key Highlights of BlueHouse at JFK Terminal 5:

  • 9,000 square feet and two floors bring an NYC apartment-style aesthetic to Terminal 5 with Art Deco design, curated art and playful nods to JetBlue’s history.
  • Local flavor infused through fresh bites curated by Union Square Events and beverages from NYC partners Joe Coffee, The Greats of Craft and Please Don’t Tell.
  • High-speed Wi-Fi, ample power outlets, a game room, open seating and quiet areas give space to the different needs of travelers looking to socialize, work and relax before flying.
  • Complimentary access is provided to Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers and transatlantic Mint customers. (Each customer and guest must also present a confirmed same day boarding pass for a Blue Fare or above ticket. Customers and guests traveling on a Blue Basic Fare are ineligible for complimentary access or to purchase a Guest pass.)

“BlueHouse helps make our flagship terminal feel more like home,” Marty St. George, president, JetBlue, said in a statement. “It’s welcoming, comfortable and uniquely JetBlue as we expand premium experiences for our most loyal customers.”

BlueHouse will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. Annual and one-time passes for eligible customers will be available for purchase next year.

JetBlue’s next BlueHouse location will open at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal C in 2026, reinforcing the airline’s ongoing investment in the focus city and the future of its premium offerings.
